    I read this book in less than 24 hours; and enjoyed very bit of it! I have been hearing a lot about IF. I had it in my head, like many others that it would be unhealthy, and possibly dangerous. My Cousin has been doing it for a few weeks and after talking with her I decided to read this book. Now I am going to try IF!

    I was skeptical but open-minded. I read all 277 pages in less than 24hrs after it was recommended by my pastor. Initially, fasting seems extreme and unhealthy- but science, reality & results say otherwise! Highly recommended

    When I first heard about intermittent fasting, I thought well that sounds horrible and unhealthy. What I’ve learned by reading Gins book is that it’s not difficult, it’s fully supported through science and the health benefits are vast! Take the time to read this book - you can do this!!

    Gin Stephens has a doctorate, is a Mensa scholar and a teacher, so she is able to seamlessly translate complicated information for the lay person. I am fifteen months into this process. Started at size 14; now a 6, getting close to size 4. This book is a game changer. Changed my life forever! Read Dr. Jason Fung if you like things explained in a more scientific way, but read this if like me, you wish to skip the science lesson. Not only is Gin informative, she is encouraging. I felt so empowered by reading her book, I started the same day. No book has ever impacted my life the way this one has. I have a thyroid condition and struggled with weight for twenty years. Thought I could never lose. Boy was I wrong. And the best part is it gets easier and easier, unlike calorie restriction, or carb restriction. Give yourself a full year. Summary: I cannot accurately express my deep appreciation for this life-changing book. Thank you Gin Stephens!
  • Terrible book

    The author literally read a bunch of good books and made herself an expert in the matter. That’s like me watching Lebron and Jordan play basketball and then going out to be a coach. I wish I could get a refund but I’m doubtful. Save yourself some time and money and read Dr Jason Fung’s book on obesity she quotes from it half the time anyway. Her jokes are terrible too..gesh
