José Pablo Feinmann was an Argentine philosopher, writer, screenwriter, historian, and playwright. He was born in Buenos Aires in 1943 and passed away in the same city in 2021. He graduated with a degree in Philosophy from the University of Buenos Aires. He was a prominent figure in the Argentine cultural and intellectual scene, known for his prolific work that spanned philosophical essays, novels, plays, and film and television scripts. His thought was characterized by a critical reading of Argentine and universal history and philosophy, with a strong political commitment. Among his most notable works are "Filosofía y nación," "La sangre de Sarmiento," "Últimos días de la víctima" (adapted into a film), "El caso L.S.," and "Timote: La vida al desnudo." He was also a renowned university professor and columnist for various media outlets.
