Frederick Denison Maurice (1805-1872) was an English theologian and social reformer. An Anglican clergyman and professor of moral theology and philosophy at King's College London, he is considered one of the founders of Christian Socialism. He advocated for the unity of the Church, education for all, and social reform based on Christian principles. His work significantly influenced the religious and social thought of his era.
