Robert Alonzo Brock (1839-1914) was an American historian, editor, librarian, and antiquarian, born in Richmond, Virginia. He devoted himself extensively to the history of Virginia, being a prolific author and compiler of historical documents. He was secretary of the Virginia Historical Society and editor of several of its publications, including the Virginia Historical Collections journal. He contributed significantly to the preservation of his state's historical heritage.
