Synopsis

Embark on Wanda Witch's third thrilling Level 3 Scholastic Reader adventure! Wanda Witch vehemently declares she never wants to attend school again, constantly finding herself in predicaments and facing the stern disapproval of her teacher, Miss Foulbreath. However, her wise feline companion, Cat-a-bogus, reminds her that all young witches must learn to read properly to master their craft. Determined to prove her literacy and avoid future lessons, Wanda decides to demonstrate her reading prowess by tackling a complex spell: the one specifically designed to transform a handsome prince into a frog. With a confident sprinkle of various magical ingredients and a seemingly simple incantation, suddenly, VOILA! a frog appears! But her magical mishap doesn't stop there, as more and more amphibious creatures begin to pop into existence with alarming speed, quickly overwhelming her in a chaotic swarm. Fortunately, the ever-resourceful Cat-a-bogus swiftly steps in to magically banish the multiplying amphibians and restore order. This chaotic experience leads Wanda to a crucial realization: perhaps attending school to properly learn how to read and cast spells without unintended consequences is indeed a very good idea after all!
