Alice Oseman is an English author and screenwriter of young adult fiction. She was born in Kent, England, in 1994. She graduated with a degree in English Literature from Durham University. She published her first novel, "Solitaire," at the age of nineteen while studying at university. She is best known for her graphic novel series "Heartstopper," which has been adapted into a successful television series for Netflix, for which she is the creator, screenwriter, and executive producer. Her work often explores themes such as LGBTQ+ identity, mental health, and adolescent relationships. Other books by her include "Radio Silence," "I Was Born for This," and "Loveless."
