With Andrea Izquierdo's pen, get ready for an epic adventure where the Golden Dragon must protect the magical balance, investigate mysterious murders, and confront a past that threatens the world's destiny.
Helen Parker has transcended her humanity, transforming into the legendary Golden Dragon, a mystical protector with the soul of an ancient dragon. After discovering an ancient family secret linking her lineage to magic, she is now the designated guardian of New York's vibrant yet vulnerable magical community, with the responsibility to protect it from supernatural threats. Despite having been imbued with unprecedented power and enjoying the loyal support of her allies, James and Cornelia, the magnitude of her new burden and the inherent isolation of her destiny plunge her into overwhelming loneliness. As she continues her magic studies at the prestigious Elmoon Academy, a haven of normalcy in her chaotic life, Helen struggles to process a painful personal loss that has left a deep scar on her heart. In this context, acclaimed fantasy author, Brooklyn Scales, an unexpected but surprisingly well-informed figure, issues a disturbing warning: dragon corpses have begun to appear, a sign of a profound destabilization in the magical balance of the world. Helen Parker will be forced to forge an unlikely alliance with Brooklyn to investigate the chilling wave of dragon murders, decipher their origin, and unmask the enigmatic perpetrator behind the massacre. However, the shadow of the past looms over her once more, embodied in the reappeared figure of Mortimer, an old enemy whose intentions are even darker now. Like Helen, Mortimer, the relentless leader of the enigmatic organization "The Others," has managed to access a source of formidable power and will stop at nothing in his tireless pursuit of the legendary Moonstone, an artifact of unimaginable potency.
