Adolfo de Castro y Rossi (Cádiz, 1821 – 1898) was a Spanish writer, historian, philologist, and bibliographer. He dedicated his life to historical and literary research, especially on Cádiz and Andalusia. He was a member of the Royal Spanish Academy and the Royal Academy of History. He published numerous works, including historical essays, critical editions of Spanish classics, and literary studies.
