Ramón de Campoamor (Navia, Asturias, 1817 - Madrid, 1901) was a Spanish poet, playwright, and politician. He is mainly known for his "doloras," "humoradas," and "pequeños poemas," brief compositions that reflect a philosophical and skeptical view of life, often with an ironic and reflective tone. He was an influential figure in the literature and politics of his time.
