Alfonso León de Garay was a prominent Mexican engineer and public official born in Mexico City on October 10, 1904. He studied at the National School of Engineers of UNAM, specializing in civil engineering. He held important positions in the Mexican government, including the direction of various institutions related to infrastructure and energy. He was Undersecretary of Public Works and director of the Federal Electricity Commission. He also served as Mexico's ambassador to Switzerland. His career was marked by his contribution to the development of infrastructure and public services in the country. He passed away on February 9, 1982.
