Ellen Thorneycroft Fowler (later Felkin) (1865-1929) was a British novelist and poet, daughter of the Liberal politician Henry Hartley Fowler, 1st Viscount Wolverhampton. She was born in Wolverhampton and was known for her novels which often explored social themes, class differences, and the role of women, with an often humorous and satirical style. Some of her most famous works include "Concerning Isabel Carnaby" and "The Farringdons". She married Alfred Laurence Felkin in 1903.
