Angel Camacho Cabrera (Gran Canaria, 1944) is a Spanish poet and narrator. He has developed his professional life as a university professor and has combined his teaching and research work with an intense literary activity. He has published numerous books of poetry, among which "La palabra habitada", "El libro de las ausencias" and "Geografía del silencio" stand out, as well as various narrative works. His work is characterized by a deep reflection on time, memory and identity, with a refined language and great sensitivity. He has been awarded several literary prizes.
