Liliane Lurçat was a French educational psychologist and psychologist specializing in the psychology of education and child development. She was born in 1927 and passed away in 2021. She spent a significant part of her professional career at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS). Her research focused on visual perception, writing, drawing, and the development of cognitive functions in children, as well as learning difficulties. She published numerous scientific articles and books, notably "La perception de l'écriture chez l'enfant" and "Le dessin, le graphisme et l'enfant". Her work had a significant impact on pedagogy and developmental psychology in France.
