Linn Ullmann is an acclaimed Norwegian author, journalist, and literary critic, born in Oslo on August 9, 1966. She is the daughter of actress Liv Ullmann and director Ingmar Bergman. She studied at New York University and debuted as a novelist in 1998 with "Before You Sleep." Her works, often exploring themes of family and memory, have been translated into numerous languages and have earned her several literary awards. Among her notable novels are "Grace," "A Blessed Child," and "The Restless."
