Luis Gabriel Moreno Ocampo is an Argentine lawyer, born on June 4, 1952, in Buenos Aires. He is known for having been the first Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), a position he held from 2003 to 2012. Previously, he served as a prosecutor in Argentina, participating in the historic Trial of the Juntas in the 1980s. His career has focused on international criminal law and human rights.
