Luis Gonzalo Segura (Madrid, 1978) is a former lieutenant of the Spanish Army. He became known for his denunciations of corruption and opacity within the Spanish Armed Forces, which led to his expulsion from the army. He is the author of books such as "Un paso al frente", "El libro negro del ejército español", "Código de silencio", "La fosa de las mentiras", and "La memoria de los zulos", where he addresses topics of corruption and military justice. In 2015, he was awarded El Confidencial's Investigative Journalism Award.
