Manuel Ibo Alfaro y Lafuente (1833-1896) was a Spanish writer, journalist, and historian. Born in Zaragoza, he studied Law, although he dedicated himself mainly to literature and journalism. He was a prolific author who published novels, plays, and historical essays. He collaborated with numerous newspapers and magazines of the time, standing out for his eloquent style and his commitment to the social and political issues of his era. His work ranges from literary criticism to regional historiography.
