Margaret Olwen Macmillan is a Canadian historian and professor, born in 1943 in Toronto. She is the granddaughter of former British Prime Minister David Lloyd George. Known for her works on international relations and history, such as "Paris 1919: Six Months That Changed the World" and "The War That Ended Peace: The Road to 1914". She was Warden of St Antony's College, Oxford.
