Mexican historian and academic, specializing in the colonial history of New Spain, particularly the Inquisition. She holds a Ph.D. in History from UNAM and is a researcher at the Institute of Philological Research at the same university. Her work focuses on the study of archival documents and paleography, with numerous publications on the Holy Office.
