Maria Josep Cuenca Ordinyana (Valencia, 1961) is a Spanish linguist, philologist, and university professor. She holds a PhD in Romance Philology from the University of Valencia, where she is a professor of linguistics. Her research focuses on functional linguistics, discourse analysis, and Catalan grammar. She is the author of numerous academic publications and a member of the Institut d'Estudis Catalans.
