Antoine de Saint-Exupéry was a French aviator and writer, born in Lyon on June 29, 1900. He is world-renowned for his short novel The Little Prince. His career as a pilot led him to write several works that reflect his experiences, such as Night Flight and Wind, Sand and Stars. He disappeared on a reconnaissance flight during World War II on July 31, 1944.
