Modest Costa i Turell (Llagostera, 1907 - Girona, 1991) was a Catalan clergyman, historian, and archivist. Ordained a priest in 1930, he served in several parishes and dedicated a large part of his life to historical research and the cataloging of archives, especially as archivist of the Girona Cathedral. He published numerous works on local and ecclesiastical history.
