Born in Córdoba in 1827 and died in Madrid in 1907, Antonio Clavero y Carmona was a Spanish jurist, politician, and writer. He studied Law and served as a lawyer, prosecutor, judge, and magistrate. He was a deputy to the Cortes for Córdoba and Seville on several occasions and held positions such as Undersecretary of Grace and Justice and Civil Governor. He was a member of the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation.
