Mrs. S. C. Hall

Anna Maria Hall (née Fielding), known professionally as Mrs. S. C. Hall, was an Irish novelist and short story writer. She was born in Dublin in 1800 and passed away in 1881. She married Samuel Carter Hall, an editor and writer, in 1824. She authored numerous works, many with Irish themes, including 'Sketches of Irish Character' and 'The Whiteboy'.
