Omar Hatamleh

Omar Hatamleh is the Executive Director of the Global Discovery Institute at NASA Ames Research Center. He is also the Former Associate Executive Director of the International Center of Excellence for Space Vision. He has held positions at Lockheed Martin, Honeywell International, and the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of California, Berkeley. Hatamleh has authored several books and published over 100 articles in technical journals. He is a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, a reviewer for the National Academies Press, and an editor for several international journals. He has received several U.S. government awards, the NASA Outstanding Leadership Medal, and has been a keynote speaker at over 200 international conferences. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh, an MBA from the University of Houston, and his BS and MS from the University of Jordan.
