Antonio Flores

Antonio Flores (Madrid, 1818 – Madrid, 1865) was a Spanish writer and journalist, a prominent figure of Romanticism and costumbrismo. He is recognized for his novels of manners and customs and journalistic articles, in which he portrayed the life and society of Madrid of his time with humor and irony. Among his most known works are "Las mil y una noches del Rastro" and "Ay qué tontos son los hombres".
