Patricio Sturlese (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1973) is an Argentine writer. He became known internationally with his first novel, The Sixth Seal (2006), a historical thriller that was translated into several languages and became a best-seller. His works, often set in medieval or Renaissance Europe, combine elements of mystery, esotericism, gothic horror, and history. Other notable novels by him include The Inquisitor (2007), The Sixth Way (2010), and The Forest Threshold (2012).
