Antonio Ramírez Medina (1947-2009) was a Spanish journalist and writer, born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. He developed a distinguished career in Canarian media, where he served as director in several publications such as Canarias Gráfica or Diario de Las Palmas. He published various literary works including essays, short stories, and chronicles, often focused on the culture and history of the Canary Islands. He also served as a cultural manager, being director of the Casa-Museo Pérez Galdós.
