Pilar Lozano Carbayo (Logroño, 1953) is a Spanish journalist and writer. She was a correspondent for the EFE Agency in El Salvador, Colombia, and New York, and for Época magazine in Washington D. C. She has published works of fiction and essays, highlighting her novel "La otra orilla," winner of the Ciudad de Badajoz Novel Prize. Her journalistic and literary work has often focused on social issues and Latin American conflicts.
