Ramón de Campoamor y Campoosorio (1817-1901) was a Spanish poet, philosopher, and politician. Born in Navia, Asturias, he is known for his "Doloras", "Humoradas", and "Pequeños Poemas", works in which he combined irony, humor, and philosophical reflection. He was a member of the Royal Spanish Academy and held various political positions, being a prominent figure in 19th-century Spanish literature.
