Ramón Ruiz Amado (Madrid, 1861-1936) was a Spanish priest, theologian, and writer. He was a professor of Theology at the University of Salamanca and director of the magazine "La Ciudad de Dios". He stood out for his work in education and for his defense of social Catholicism, influencing Spanish Catholic thought in the early 20th century. He wrote numerous works on philosophy, theology, pedagogy, and sociology.
