Robert Graves

Robert Graves (1895-1985) was a British poet, novelist, and classical scholar. Known for his historical novels such as "I, Claudius" and "Claudius the God," which explore ancient Rome, as well as for his poetry. His work "Good-bye to All That" recounts his experiences in World War I. He also wrote "The White Goddess," a study of poetic mythology. He spent a large part of his adult life in Mallorca, Spain.
