Rudolf Rocker (1873-1958) was a German anarchist writer, historian, and activist. He was a prominent figure in the international anarcho-syndicalist movement. He spent many years in London, where he edited Yiddish anarchist newspapers. Fleeing Nazism in 1933, he went into exile in the United States. He authored influential works such as "Nationalism and Culture" and "Anarcho-Syndicalism: Theory and Practice".
