Salvador Lastra y Villaseñor (1838-1920) was a Mexican lawyer, politician, and writer. He was born in Tacubaya, Mexico City. He served as governor of Tabasco for several periods and was Minister of Justice and Public Instruction. He is recognized for his contributions to law and education in Mexico, as well as for his legal and political essays.
