Santiago Posteguillo is a Spanish writer, university professor, and philologist. He is mainly known for his historical novels set in Ancient Rome, highlighting his trilogies dedicated to Scipio Africanus and Emperor Trajan. In 2018, he was awarded the Premio Planeta for his work "I, Julia."
