Vicente de Paula Andrade (1903-1999) was a Brazilian physician, writer, and politician, a member of the Academia Mineira de Letras. He was born in Montes Claros, Minas Gerais. He stood out for his career in medicine, especially in the field of ophthalmology, and for his vast literary work, which includes poetry, essays, and chronicles.
