Vicente Salvá y Pérez

Vicente Salvá y Pérez (Valencia, 1780 - Paris, 1849) was a prominent Spanish bookseller, publisher, and bibliographer. He founded the famous Librería de Salvá in Paris, which became an important center for cultural dissemination. He is mainly known for his monumental "Catálogo de la biblioteca de Salvá," an essential reference for Hispanic bibliography, which describes thousands of rare and valuable works.
