Walter C. Kerr

Walter C. Kerr (1862-1925) was an influential American businessman and executive, primarily known for his role in the railway and manufacturing industries. He served as president of Westinghouse, Church, Kerr & Company, a prominent engineering firm that contributed significantly to the electrification and modernization of railways and urban transport systems, such as the New York subway. Kerr was also a proponent of electric power usage and a key player in the development of early 20th-century industrial infrastructure.
