Zeferino González y Díaz Tuñón (1829-1894) was a Spanish cardinal, philosopher, and theologian. He joined the Dominican Order, where he stood out for his erudition and his defense of Thomism. He was a professor of philosophy and theology, Bishop of Cádiz, Archbishop of Seville and Toledo, and a cardinal. He is considered a key figure in the renewal of scholastic thought in Spain.
