Augusto González Besada y Sierra was a Spanish politician and lawyer, born in Pontevedra in 1865 and died in Madrid in 1919. He held several ministerial positions during the reign of Alfonso XIII, including the portfolios of Finance, Interior, Grace and Justice, and Public Works. He was a member of the Conservative Party and also served as president of the Congress of Deputies.
