Antoine-Jacques-Louis Jourdan (1788-1848) was a French physician, librarian, and translator. He was one of the most prolific translators of his time, specializing in the translation of medical and scientific works from German, English, Italian, and Spanish into French. Among his most notable works is the translation of works by Alexander von Humboldt. He was also a member of several scientific societies and published some of his own works in the fields of medicine and natural history.
