Charles Henry Browning (1896-1981) was a British doctor and writer. Born in Birmingham, he served in the Royal Army Medical Corps during the First World War and later practiced as a general practitioner. He is known for his historical novels, particularly those set during the English Civil War, as well as for his poetry and children's literature.
