Alberto Mira Nouselles

Alberto Mira Nouselles is a Spanish screenwriter, essayist, and university professor. He obtained his doctorate at the University of Oviedo with a thesis on screwball comedy in Spanish cinema and has been a Senior Lecturer in Hispanic Studies at Oxford Brookes University, as well as a Professor of Cultural Studies at the University of Oxford. His research focuses on popular culture and Spanish and Latin American cinema, as well as cultural history. He has written and co-written several academic books and articles, including "La caja de Pandora. El cine de Eloy de la Iglesia" and "The cinema of Spain and Portugal". He has also contributed to publications such as "Film Quarterly" and "Journal of Spanish Cultural Studies".
