Charlie Lovett is an American author of historical fiction, mystery, and young adult books. He is known for his novels that often combine a passion for books, literature, and historical mysteries. Lovett is an expert on Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson) and has written several books related to him, including his own novel The Book of Mrs. Blackwell, which features Carroll as a character. Before becoming a full-time writer, he was an English teacher and a bookstore owner. His works include The Bookman's Tale, The Further Adventures of Ebenezer Scrooge, and The Book of Mrs. Blackwell.
