Alberto Rocha Díaz (1945-2009) was a Mexican diplomat, historian, and writer. He served as Mexico's ambassador to countries such as Cuba, Portugal, and Costa Rica. He authored several books, primarily on topics of history and diplomacy, including works on Lázaro Cárdenas and the relations between Mexico and Cuba.
