Daniel Goleman is an American psychologist, author, and science journalist. He became internationally known for his 1995 book "Emotional Intelligence," which was on The New York Times bestseller list. He was a science reporter for The New York Times, covering brain and behavioral sciences topics. He has written other books such as "Working with Emotional Intelligence" and "The Brain and Emotional Intelligence." He is a co-founder of the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL).
