Emilio Reus y Bahamonde (1858-1891) was a Spanish jurist, writer, and politician. He held a Doctorate in Law from the Central University of Madrid and served as a Professor of Criminal Law at the Universities of Barcelona and Madrid. He founded the "Revista General de Legislación y Jurisprudencia" and authored important legal works, notably his "Tratado de Derecho Penal" (Treatise on Criminal Law). He also served as a member of the Spanish Parliament (Cortes).
