Félix Luis Viera (Havana, 1945) is a Cuban writer who went into exile in the United States in 1991. He studied chemical engineering, but dedicated his life to literature, excelling as a poet, novelist, and short story writer. He was a journalist for Bohemia magazine in Cuba. His work addresses life on the island, exile, and the human condition, and has been recognized with several awards and translated into various languages.
