Fernando Fernán Gómez (1921-2007) was a Spanish actor, screenwriter, film, theater and television director, and writer. He stood out for his prolific career in Spanish cinema, participating in over 200 films as an actor and directing about twenty, including "El viaje a ninguna parte" (Journey to Nowhere) and "Belle époque". He was also a member of the Royal Spanish Academy.
