Francisco García Calderón (1883-1953) was a Peruvian writer, diplomat, and intellectual. Son of former president Francisco García Calderón Landa. He studied law and served as a diplomat in Europe. He is recognized for his essays and literary criticism, notably his work "El Perú contemporáneo" (1907), an analysis of Peruvian society and Latin American identity. He was a member of the Peruvian Academy of Language and the Royal Spanish Academy.
